Mix & Master

So you have completed your track recordings…

While many home studios have popped up, especially during the 2020-2022 pandemic years, mixing and mastering is not for everyone. OAS works directly with you to understand your vision, your goal to deliver a final product that is radio, streaming and social media ready. We closely monitor all of the current musical distribution trends, rules and regulations regarding the correct volume and file types for all platforms. From a simple solo act to a large band, we will guide you through the mixing and mastering process as we work on your tracks. Below are samples of just a few of the mix/master projects we have worked on. We received the original multitracks for each song, created our mix and then mastered it for radio play. ENJOY

Jonah was in America’s Got Talent season 9. He is an acclaimed singer-songwriter that is based in Los Angeles, CA. Jonah pulls from the deep well of American blues and many of its offshoots, including soul, country, and folk as he continues to write, produce and perform. Below is OUR mix and master from the originaliy- provided recording stems.

This was a true labour of love! The original tracks were recorded at the incredible Sunset Sound Studio and the lineup of musicians was stellar! Marc Martel is the Montreal born brother from another mother of Freddie Mercury. He worked on the recent Bohemian Rhapsody movie providing vocal takes for a number of the songs. The balance of the musicians are: Guitar: Jamie Humphries (Brian May, Queen Extravaganza), Bass: Tony Franklin (Roy Harper, The Firm, Jimmy Page), Drums: Pete Riley (Republica) Keys: Steve Maggiora (TOTO, Robert Jon & The Wreck)
